Bandung is a highland city located about 2.5 hours' drive southeast of Jakarta . It is a favourite destination for Jakarta residents to get away for weekends and long holidays. The city has also become a favorite place for tourists from Singapore and Malaysia too. They are here to shop, enjoy the nature and the fabulous foods. During the Dutch colonial days, Bandung was the favorite resort of wealthy owners of tea and coffee plantations. The city was also dubbed as " Parijs van Java ", the Paris of Java. Tao Dan Park, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Tao Dan Park is a perfect place for a break from Ho Chi Minh ’s busy streets. It is located in Ho Chi Minh’s District 1, the most tourist-friendly area of the city, and is always open. The park has children’s playground, plenty of open space and beautiful manicured gardens. There are over 1,000 trees in this 24-acre park, providing plenty of shade from the heat. A good time to enjoy the park is the morning before the heat sets in. Stroll through the park and watch as the local residents perform tai chi. Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a late 19th century building located along Jalan Raja in front of the Merdeka Square and the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building originally housed the offices of the British colonial administration, and was known simply as Government Offices in its early years. In 1974 it was renamed after Sultan Abdul Samad, the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time when construction began. Click here to find more exciting places! The Merdeka (Independence) Square is located exactly opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. This is the historical place where the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag was raised for the very first time at the struck of midnight of 31st August 1957.
