Image
Tao Dan Park is a perfect place for a break from Ho Chi Minh ’s busy streets. It is located in Ho Chi Minh’s District 1, the most tourist-friendly area of the city, and is always open. The park has children’s playground, plenty of open space and beautiful manicured gardens. There are over 1,000 trees in this 24-acre park, providing plenty of shade from the heat. Book a Holiday with Mursyid Alharamain There are also tennis courts and a swimming pool adjacent to the park which are open to the public for a small fee. A good time to enjoy the park is the morning before the heat sets in. Stroll through the park and watch as the local residents perform tai chi. Another good reason to visit the park in the morning is for the singing birds. People from throughout Ho Chi Minh City bring their birds to the park to practice their singing skills.  A nearby Buddhist temple is also worth for taking some photos. You can also find the miniature replicas of Nha Trang’s Cham Tower...

Ben Thanh Market is a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, textiles, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs, as well as local cuisine. Photo by Fadzil Hisham The market developed from informal markets created by early 17th century street vendors gathering together near the Saigon River . In 1912 the market was moved to a new building and called the New Ben Thanh Market to distinguish over its predecessor. TSS EVERYWHERE
