Tanjong Malim is a peaceful town located at about 70km north of Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . It lies on the Perak-Selangor state border, with Sungai Bernam serving as the natural divider. This lovely town can be reached via the North-South Highway or simply by train from the KL Sentral Station . Opened in 1917 as Sultan Idris Training College, the university has produced so many important people for the country.
