E Shed Markets, Fremantle, Australia

E Shed Markets is located in a magnificent historical warehouse building on Victoria Quay at the Fremantle Harbour in Western Australia. The markets is a stone’s throw from the Fremantle Railway Station and right next door to the Fremantle Maritime Museum and the Rottnest Ferry Terminals . It opens on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and some selected public holidays. Photo by Fadzil Hisham The warehouse building is a historic timber building known as "E" Shed that was constructed in 1929. In 1995 this shed was moved from its location alongside the river at Victoria Quay to vacant land behind B and C sheds. The shed was rotated 180 degrees in the process. Designed by Tarek Ibrahim and the construction work was done by Fini Group , including developing the building into a market. Banzaan Market is a modern-looking Thai fresh market on Sai Kor Road, Patong , Thailand . Basically, you can get anything that one would expect from a local market here but in a much more pleasant environment. The Banzaan Market is the brainchild of a well-known Phuket family who sought to offer shoppers an alternative experience other than visiting a typical local market. The word ‘banzaan’ means fresh market in Hokkien, a Chinese dialect popular among many overseas Chinese communities throughout Southeast Asia. Ben Thanh Market is a large marketplace in central Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in District 1. The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and an important symbol of Ho Chi Minh City . Ben Thanh Market is a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, textiles, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs, as well as local cuisine.
